Job description

Mission Description                      

Based in Nairobi and reporting to the General manager-SEZ, the candidate will be required to plan and coordinate warehousing activities, ensure safe custody and handling of Clients' cargo in the warehouse with specific deliverables as:-

1. Monitor and approve receipt and release of Clients' goods
2. Submit periodic reports on stock movement to customers
3. Ensure ISO procedures are followed and targets met
4. Approve customers' invoices for services rendered
5. Prepare departmental budget for gross margins and expenses and ensure the set budget is attained
6. Prepare periodic reports for management
7. Handle customer issues and ensure satisfaction and retention
8. Prepare bond returns to KRA
9. Prospect for business and prepare quotations to clients
10. Allocate storage space to ensure efficient use of available resources
11. Consolidate goods for export
12. Organize for dispatch and delivery of goods to the relevant destinations while ensuring relevant documentation accompanies the goods
13. Ensure the safe custody of goods in the Warehouse

 

Profile

1. Business Degree/Supply Chain Management
2. Experience in an SEZ will be an added advantage
3.Three years working experience
