Mission Description
Job Purpose:
To supervise the overall processing, reporting, and reconciliation of store transactions, ensuring compliance with company standards.
Job Function:
Supervision and Oversight
• Supervise the team responsible for processing stores transactions.
• Monitor and guide daily activities to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Provide training and support to staff for effective execution of tasks.
General Responsibilities
• Oversee and process all stores transactions on the company accounting system.
• Verify and reconcile intercompany stock movements.
• Review and validate journals for purchase orders, cost changes, goods received notes, and item movement allocations to ledger codes.
• Ensure GRNs for all stores are processed promptly.
Reconciliation and Reporting
• Conduct regular and random checks of stock across all stores, ensuring alignment between Syspro records, Kardex cards, and physical counts.
• Lead monthly stock-taking processes and ensure accurate reporting.
• Investigate and resolve store variances promptly.
• Prepare and submit timely, accurate month-end store transaction reports.
• Oversee tyre reconciliation processes.
• Manage inter-depot and export warehouse reconciliations.
Compliance and File Management
• Ensure all stores administrative files are complete, accurate, and up-to-date.
• Implement and monitor compliance with company policies and procedures.
QHSE
• Ensure all QHSE requirements are adhered too and relevant policies and procedures are followed
Profile
Minimum Education, Experience Requirements & Core Competencies
• Matric
• Post matric qualification an advantage
• Computer literate, Excel Skills (Intermediate)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience with stock / Stock Take / Variance analysis essential
• 5 or more years' experience in a similar environment
