Job description

Mission Description                      

• Receipt of shipping documents from the respective coms and confirmation if in order.
• Tracking of the eta's of the received shipping documents across various shipping lines.
• Advising the manifest numbers to respective com's upon upload by shipping lines prior to vessel arrival (two days).
• Requesting the local shipping line charges.
• Processing the local shipping line charges.
• Prepare and lodge the shipping line documents for delivery order processing.
• Follow up with the shipping line/s for the delivery order.
• Dispatch and file the delivery order and guarantee forms upon receipt.
• Continuous updating of the internal business software (spot) with the shipping steps.
• Advise the coms on manifest amendments to be undertaken with shipping lines and customs should the need arise

 

Profile

The applicant should possess the following qualifications: -
• Diploma in Clearing and forwarding or related field.
• 2 years relevant experience.
• Motorbike rider (added advantage)
