Job Purpose:
Successfully co – ordinate all client shipments from start to end (North & South bound)
Profile
Job Function:
Client Liaison, requirements, queries, changes, orders, rates, tracking positions, delays etc.
Follow up on vehicle delays including border problems till truck offloads
Loading instructions from clients, including making orders/maps for drivers to load and ensure that vehicle details/driver details are sent to clients. · Loading driver instructions, ensure driver is briefed were to load and OBE's needed. · Ensure vehicle depart to the loading point and border · Assist driver with queries telephonically, or through order number queries or barcodes. · Allocate vehicles once they are signed out of the workshop. · Request documents from clients. · Handover documents to dispatch to do the necessary to ensure vehicles are dispatched. · Ensure file have correct rates and details. · Ensure costing of north and south bound files is done for accounts department. · Request orders from Sasol for trucks to load in Secunda, updating renaissance system · Monitor and prepare loading instructions in advance for loading at Sasol Secunda (Sulphur) or any other client. · Daily monitor and prepare barcodes for vehicles to load in Sasol Secunda using the Sasol Renaissance system. · Monitor submission of driver trip payments on internal information system. · Monitor the completion of outgoing driver worksheets and diesel order. · Monitor driver advances, refunds etc. Petty cash control. · Assist in the daily load planning spreadsheet in the absence of Operations Manager. · Monitor and report on fleet efficiencies, i.e. borders, loading and offloading delays.
Monitor and Report on data within Carlo1. · Review and Monitor tracking reports to customers. · Update TMS & tracking with relevant documentation. · Corridor coupons and fumigation orders · Receiving south bound documents (PODs, toll slips and parking slips) · Ensure documents are sent to the border posts. · Any other delegated tasks deemed as reasonable and as assigned by the reporting manager
