Mission description
The Human Resources Officer will be based in Lilongwe. The Human Resources will be responsible for implementing and maintaining effective HR practices and processes in alignment with corporate policies and local labour legislation. This role plays a key part in supporting our business through talent acquisition, performance management, employee engagement, and compliance.
Profile
• Oversee the end-to-end recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes.
• Administer compensation and benefits programs, including pensions and medical schemes.
• Provide support in handling employee grievances and disciplinary matters in line with company procedures and labour laws.
• Coordinate the staff performance appraisal process and follow-up actions.
• Identify training needs and support implementation of staff development initiatives.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
• Ensure compliance with Malawi's Employment Act, Labour Relations Act, Pension Act, and other relevant legislation.
• Support HR policy implementation and monitor adherence across departments.
• Promote a positive working environment through effective communication and employee relations strategies.
