Mission Description
The Forklift Driver is responsible for safely operating a forklift to move materials and products within the warehouse. The role involves ensuring efficient and accurate handling of goods, maintaining a safe working environment, and contributing to warehouse productivity.
1. Forklift Operation:
• Safely operate a forklift to load, unload, and move materials.
• Ensure accurate placement of goods in designated areas.
2. Safety and Compliance:
• Follow safety protocols and procedures.
• Conduct pre-shift checks on the forklift.
• Report any issues or incidents.
3. Productivity:
• Meet productivity targets for loading/unloading.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
4. Communication:
• Coordinate with team members on tasks and priorities.
• Report any issues or concerns to supervisor.
Profile
• Valid forklift operator license or ability to obtain one.
• 3+ years of experience operating a forklift.
• Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
