Mission Description
Main Objectives
• Reporting to the Entity Q-HSE Manager
• Assist in providing Q-HSE technical support to the other departments
• Ensure Q-HSE Management System is fully implemented on his area of responsibility
• Continuously improve the Q-HSE processes and practices
Main Tasks and Responsibilities
The Q-HSE Traffic Agent is responsible for all aspects of Quality, Safety, Health, and Environment within the operations under his responsibility. With the entity Q-HSE Manager, he determines the requirement for procedures / training and procurement of material related to Q-HSE.
He is responsible for the prompt reporting of any safety related incident on the Terminal.
Job tasks / responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• To manage and control traffic
• Enforce safety/ traffic rules and accountability policy.
• Direct vehicles and pedestrians at dedicated assigned intersections within the terminal
• Promote traffic free environment to aid vessels/yards operations.
• Oversee behaviour/observations -PPE, stay in cabin, alcohol &drugs, and breakdown management.
• Participate in TBM to increase knowledge of site traffic / safety rules.
• Conduction daily, monthly inspection on containers trucks and follow up with closing of findings.
• Participate in detailed incident/ accident investigation and root cause analysis.
• Assist in the development and presentation of relevant HSE trainings.
