Job description

Mission Description                      

Based in Nairobi and reporting to the Regional Projects and Technical Manager, the successful applicant will be responsible for the following key result areas: -

• Workshop Operations Management
• Team Supervision & coordination
• Preventive Maintenance scheduling
• Healthy, safety and compliance
• Inventory & spare parts management
• Technical Diagnosis & Troubleshooting
• Records keeping and Reporting
• Vendor and Third-party coordination
• Cost control

 

Profile

Technical skills
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems of heavy machinery
• Familiarity with computerized maintenance management (CNMS) and diagnostic tools.
Key Skills
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to effectively report and communicate technical information to senior management
