Mission Description
Job Title: Transport Administrator
Reports to: Transport/Workshop Manager
Location: Plot M-611, Ntinda Road, Kampala
Job Purpose and Main Missions:
- Drive revenue generation through efficient customer service and document management.
- Ensure client KPIs are met by driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
1. UTD Customer Service
- Receive, vet and track customer documents
- Open job files in SPOT
- Timely invoicing and communication with customers
- Cargo tracking and updates
- Minimizing operational delays
2. Travel Allowance
- Process driver travel allowances
- Ensure accountability and maintain auditable records
3. Document Management
- Open job files in SPOT
- Archive documents for closed jobs
- Provide files to internal clients
- Attach invoices and transporter documents
- Maintain physical files and archives
Profile
Required Skills:
1. Education
- Bachelor's degree in Transport and Logistics Management
- Special Skills and Knowledge
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficiency in MS-Excel and data analysis
- Organizational and time management skills
Additional Responsibilities:
1. Perform other duties as requested by the supervisor or management.
2. Collaborate with departments to ensure seamless operations.
