Mission Description                      

An exciting career opportunity has risen in our Sea Imports Local Department as
outlined below. We invite applicants who are performance driven, with excellent transferable skills and a demonstrable track record of achievement in past roles. Based in Nairobi and reporting to the Transport & Logistics Solutions Specialist, the successful applicant will be responsible for the following key result areas: -

1. Spot Key User / ASCENS care support
2. T.A updating & Cognos monitoring (Including manual input of events in T. A)
3. Data analysis (dashboard maintenance, weekly/ monthly reports coverage on volume trends).
4. Preparation of overall statistics (Customs KPIs, EDOC, Loadings, Freshness & completeness).
5. Declaration support & workflow performance preparation. (Support on Declaration processing events to facilitate RCN generation).
6. Online archiving of files & ledgers in the systems (W700 ledgers).
7. System training support to new & existing staff
8. Following up and ensuring the ASCENS care tickets are turned around within 24hrs
9. Provide Level 1 support on tickets from users and lodges them in ASCENS Care where need arises.
10. Update the local COGNOS report.
11. Proactively identify gaps and reaching out to supervisor with solutions
11. provide timely team support.
12. Attend Monthly teams key user meetings with other EAREG key users.

 

Profile

Degree in Information Systems/ Statistics or any related field.
2 Years relevant experience in Clearing & Forwarding or Logistics
