Description Du Poste

Mission                      

The Projects Business Analyst will mainly intervene during the Genesis and Development phases of a project's life. He/she will assist the Africa Project Director and the project verticals' Director in collating relevant information related to their respective industries. He/She will produce detailed customer account plans and project mapping (e.g. identifying the main projects, the corresponding sub-projects, main lots, other business opportunities… and the customers being positioned for each of these business opportunities).

Main Responsibilities :
 Obtain fresh news and events on the main projects being followed from specialized press and internet projects resources (such as Africa Energy Intelligence, EIC datastream…). Update the project database whenever relevant and after receiving the greenlight from the industry director in charge.
 Assist in developing and improving the Business Intelligence (BI) and Reporting sections of the Project Mapping Apps.
 Review, correct and amend newly entered projects. Ensure that the information provided are comprehensive and accurate.
 Assist in detecting the errors / anomalies of the projects database and maintain the corrective actions list which is shared with the developer.
 Assist in improving the user experience through new developments of the project database Apps.
 Report any abnormal usage of the project database Apps.
 Develop project customer account plans in conjunction with the Vertical Directors (identify the main stakeholders / contacts, current activities, upcoming projects, etc.)
 Develop complex project mapping to identify all business opportunities per lot / sections as well as the relevant stakeholders (project owners / EPC / contractor).
 Collate the relevant materials and information to formalize project case studies and expand our case studies' library.
 Assist the Africa Project Director and verticals' Director to work on market studies linked to the project sector (e.g. Renewables Energies in Africa – 5 years projection)
 Providing ad-hoc support to project activity in general as necessary: due to the nature of the envisaged workload the company requires the candidate to be flexible within his/her own sphere of competence.

 

Profil

You are graduated of a master's degree.
You have a first successful experience in this position.
You are proficient with the use of TMS and freight forwarding operations in an industrial environment.
You have strong knowledge of MS pack office (word, excel, PowerPoint…).
You are fluent in English. An affinity for Africa is a plus!
