Mission Description                      

1. Supervise Fleet Planners to ensure effective daily planning, vehicle allocation, and timely dispatch of transport operations.
2. Coordinate daily transport activities to ensure planned trips are executed efficiently while achieving operational KPIs.
3. Monitor fleet utilization, vehicle availability, and driver productivity to maximize operational efficiency.
4. Review transport schedules and make adjustments based on operational priorities, customer requirements, and fleet availability.
5. Coordinate with the Workshop to minimize downtime and ensure timely availability of serviceable vehicles.
6. Monitor trip execution, loading, dispatch, delivery performance, turnaround times, and vehicle movements.
7. Manage operational disruptions including vehicle breakdowns, accidents, traffic delays, and customer emergencies by implementing contingency plans.
8. Monitor fleet performance indicators including fleet utilization, trip completion, turnaround time, detention, demurrage, and vehicle productivity.
9. Ensure compliance with transport legislation, company policies, safety procedures, and customer service standards.
10. Review and approve daily transport plans prepared by Fleet Planners before execution.
11. Coordinate driver deployment, leave schedules, shift planning, and operational manpower requirements.
12. Liaise with customers, shipping lines, depots, and internal stakeholders to resolve operational challenges promptly.
13. Review operational reports and provide daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports to Management.
14. Coach, mentor, and evaluate Fleet Planners to ensure continuous improvement in planning quality and operational performance.
15. Lead operational meetings and communicate priorities, challenges, and performance expectations to the planning team.
16. Ensure all transport documentation is completed accurately and submitted within the required timelines.
17. Perform any other duties assigned by the Fleet & Transport Solutions Manager.
