Mission Description                      

Job Purpose:
The OBE Controller ensures that all OBE devices are correctly installed, activated, operational, and accurately linked to the relevant vehicles, drivers, and operational requirements.
The position plays a key role in supporting fleet visibility, compliance, vehicle tracking, data accuracy, and efficient logistics operations.

 

Profile

Job Function:
• Maintain and update the daily vehicle and trailer register.
• Manage the issuing, tracking, and replacement of OBE on all horses and trailers.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation and records.
• Monitor and manage OBE stock levels, including the ordering of required stock.
• Receive, verify, and record new OBE stock.
• Record and maintain photographic evidence of loaded trailers and submit the required information to the Operations Department.
• Conduct regular checks and maintain control of OBE on empty trailers within the yard.
• Ensure that all OBE is properly accounted for and discrepancies are reported to the relevant manager.
• Perform any other reasonable and delegated duties as assigned by the Reporting Manager.

Minimum Requirements
• Matric
• Computer literate
• 2–5 years' experience OBE coordination.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
