Job description

HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGEMENT
HR Supervisor-KBL Ruaraka M/F

Mission Description                      

Support the activities of the HR department on site by:-
1. Participating in the recruitment & selection process by drafting adverts, preparing a candidate shortlist for interviews, preparing requests for employment documents with relevant attachments, call selected candidates for interview and thereafter to sign the offer letter and discuss start dates e.t.c.
2. Monitor induction of new staff, process staff badges, manage probations, confirmation ,contract end dates and renewals and follow up on outstanding documents both from employee and HOD end.
3. Training administration-Prepare training memos, maintain the training attendance list and training reports ,prepare and follow up on NITA applications to train and reimbursement of amounts spent on training e.t.c
4.Participate in the disciplinary and grievance handling process through coordinating invites, taking minutes, provide advise/guidelines to the hearing panel, filing the correspondence, giving timely feedback to staff, preparing notices, minutes, warnings, caution letters etc. and ensure the process is executed in time
5.Assist in managing a performance appraisal system that drives high performance
6.Prepare periodic casual requisitions for approval
7.Prepare accurate monthly payroll inputs with staff details, HELB deductions ,overtime, LTA, Staff changes e.t.c
8. Prepare the Site stationery and drinking water requests and follow up on deliveries.
9.Support in enforcing the use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) all the time by the team on site
10.Support in enforcing all QHSE regulations to ensure safe working conditions and practice within the Warehouse and site at all times.
11. Ensure staff files have all the required documents and are updated in real time.

 

Profile

1. Bachelors Degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent
2. CHRP Qualification is a must
3. Member of IHRM
4. 2 years' experience in a busy environment
5. Fluent in English
