Mission Description                      


Job Title: MCPY Field Officer
Reports to: Transport Coordinator
Location: Kakuuto in Kyotera, Rakai District

Job Purpose:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced MCPY4 Field Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will assist the Transport Coordinator in ensuring the smooth running of daily operations related to all AGL deliveries to respective MCPY.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in overseeing the receipt of goods at MCPY, including supervising cargo unlashing, performing barcode scanning, and preparing paperwork.
- Perform dispatch duties for empty vehicles and receive loaded vehicles.
- Prepare report summaries for trucks received/dispatched daily.
- Conduct driver safety briefings and ensure adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Carry out Risk Assessments and provide guidance on precautionary measures.
- Manage truck traffic and ensure site security.

 

Profile

Requirements:

- Diploma or bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
- 4-6 years of relevant working experience in a similar position.
- Extensive knowledge of import and export from an international environment.
- Good knowledge of safe vehicle lashing, unlashing, loading, and unloading.
- Knowledge of onsite QHSE requirements.
