Mission Description
Job Purpose
To manage folio processing and reconciliation, ensuring accurate matching of goods and services to provisions while serving as the key link between Operations and Finance.
Key Responsibilities
This includes, but is not limited to: -
- Coordinate and administer documentation for local and cross-border transport operations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date driver, vehicle, permit, license, and trip records.
- Monitor the validity of driver and vehicle documentation and facilitate timely renewals.
- Prepare, process, and file transport-related documents, including trip sheets, permits, and operational reports.
- Capture and maintain transport data to support operational reporting and decision-making.
- Assist with driver scheduling, attendance tracking, and communication of transport instructions.
- Ensure transport records and documentation are compliant with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Support transport audits, inspections, and investigations by providing accurate records and documentation.
- Liaise with drivers, internal departments, clients, customs agents, and regulatory authorities as required.
- Prepare periodic reports on transport activities, vehicle utilization, and driver information.
- Perform general administrative duties to support the effective functioning of the Transport Division
Profile
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12 (NQF Level 4
- Tertiary Education: Relevant Certificate or Diploma in Administration, Finance, Logistics, or a related field will be an advantage.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in administration.
- Experience in the transport and logistics industry will be an advantage.
- Computer literate with good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Experience using ERP or transport management systems is advantageous.
