Mission description
Job Purpose:
The candidate will support daily Warehouse Management Systems issues and manage continuous improvement projects. He / She will also perform Trainings from time to time as may be requested by his management.
Profile
Job Function and Key Responsibilities:
• Provide daily support to WMS users:
o Troubleshoot production issues.
o Root cause analysis.
o Liaise with vendor and/or regional IT to close issues.
o Develop support documentation.
• Manage continuous improvement projects:
o Liaise with operations and/or customers to gather business requirements.
o Liaise with regional team and/or vendor to translate business requirements into technical requirements.
o Perform configuration and test in WMS.
o Implementation and Post Go live support.
Training and Support:
• Provide trainings only upon request from his/her management.
• Provide the level of Support as agreed with his/her management within his/her parameter.
• When support requires the intervention of Corporate MIS, open/post an incident through Corporate MIS ticketing system.
Continuously Improve:
• Use Incidents history to improve or suggest improvements to his management.
• Attend meetings and or workshops as may be required to improve and better plan in the support role.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
• Degree in supply chain management, industrial engineering or similar.
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems and SQL would be must have.
• Quick learner and fast thinker with the strong ability to respond and solve Warehouse management systems problem in an efficient manner.
• Able to work independently as well as to participate effectively in a team environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• French Speaking will be a plus.
• Must be willing and prepared to travel.
• Must have a valid passport.
