Description Du Poste

Mission                      

Context

The Finance Department of AFRICA GLOBAL LOGISTICS, a sub-group of the MSC Group with a strong presence on the African continent, is launching a project to deploy the SAP S4/HANA ERP to replace its legacy accounting and financial tools. This large-scale program aims to define a core finance model that meets the needs of the various businesses (Port, Shipping, Logistics, Rail), and then to deploy it in the 50 countries of the Africa Global Logistics Group.
The Finance Department wishes to strengthen the internal team that will manage this program by recruiting a SAP S4 integration and authorizations analyst.
Purpose
Member of the Finance / EPM Finance Department, the candidate will report to the SAP S4 Technical manager.
The SAP S4 Finance Program is structured by Finance functional streams: Record-to-Report; Order-to-Cash ; Purchase-to-Pay.
The SAP S4 integration and authorizations analyst main missions are :
• Ensure the technical monitoring of SAP S/4HANA interfaces
• Manage user authorizations, guaranteeing reliable system integrations and secure access control

Key responsibilities

The Business Analyst will be in charge of:
• Interface Monitoring and evolution:
o Daily supervision of inter-application flows (IDoc, RFC, Web Services, PI/PO, SAP Application Interface Framework (AIF), WebMethods)
o Error analysis and resolution of technical issues related to integrations
o Implementation of alerts and monitoring dashboards (Datadog, Splunk)
o Conception, tests and deployment of new interfaces
o Coordination with functional teams and technical partners to ensure smooth data exchanges
• Authorization management:
o Administration of user roles and profiles in SAP S/4HANA
o Implementation of security best practices (least privilege principle, segregation of duties)
o Support for audits and regulatory compliance (e.g., SOX, GDPR)
o Assistance to business teams for access creation and modification
o Automation and optimization of access management processes
• Support and Maintenance:
o Participation in incident resolution related to interfaces and authorizations
o Contribution to system evolution projects (upgrades, new modules)
o Writing technical documentation and user guides

 

Profil

Level of education and experience

Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT or Information Systems.
Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role.
SAP certification (e.g., SAP Certified Technology Associate - System Administration or Authorizations) is a plus.

Technical competencies

• Proficiency in SAP S/4HANA, NetWeaver, Fiori, Solution Manager
• Knowledge of exchange protocols (SOAP, REST, IDoc, RFC)
• Experience in SAP role and authorization management
• Familiarity with monitoring and reporting tools (AIF, SPLUNK, etc.)
• Experience with Eclipse for SAP development and technical troubleshooting
• Knowledge of Adobe LiveCycle for form design, workflow management, and document automation
• Continuous technological watch to stay updated on SAP developments
