Mission Description
Based in Kisumu and reporting to the Safety Supervisor, the successful applicant will be responsible for the following key result areas: -
1. Demonstrate to the loaders how to safely go about the various activities e.g KEG loading/unloading, empties offloading and beer loading
2. Attend daily tier 1 meetings, ensure 100% attendance and highlight any safety(QHSE) issues/observations
3. Raise safety incident report cards on unsafe acts and conditions in every shift
4. Ensure zero unsafe acts/conditions on site
5. Ensure 100% PPE's compliance and adherence.
6. Continuously ensure 5S principles are always being adhered to in the warehouses and operation areas
7. Clear working areas and ensure there's no obstruction
8. Ensure there's proper stacking and proper placement of pallets, layer boards.
9. Enforce all QHSE regulations to ensure safe working conditions and practice within the Warehouse.
10. Assist the QHSE supervisor in coordinating all toolbox meetings at the start of the shift.
11. Enforce clear gangways, fire points and emergency exits
12. Report all near misses immediately
13.Enforce use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to everyone at the place of work.
14.Make at least thirty (30) Safety Observations per month
15. Ensure timely and accurate reporting and follow up of any unsafe acts and conditions
16. Ensure continuous training of Warehouse loaders and pickers on Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
17.Maintain good working relationships between AGL, KBL, POL, Security and Transporters.
