Job Purpose:
Efficient and accurate handling of goods, supporting smooth warehouse operations.

 

Profile

Job Function:
Receiving/Put-Away:

• Unload inbound shipments safely and move product to storage locations
• Efficiently stack and store the merchandise in the appropriate areas
• Verify quality and quantity of inbound and outbound shipments
• Report all damages and or discrepancies as per processes

Order Picking:

• Retrieve product for shipment
• Ensure that exact number and type of product is retrieved
• Perform picking duties in an efficient manner that meets customer and company service standards

Equipment:

• Load, unload, move, stack, and stage product and materials using a forklift, clamp truck, or other electrical or power equipment
• Use radio frequency equipment for picking, receiving, put away, and load functions
• Maintain the clients or company facilities, equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion
• Inspect and perform daily checks and tasks on the forklift or other equipment
• Operate all equipment in the required manner following prescribed work methods and regulatory requirements

QHSE:
• Ensure housekeeping is completed in your environment or as per requirements
• Ensure all health and safety and environmental requirements are adhered to, or as per OHS Act and Company rules on site
• 6S in your environment
• Any other reasonable task required by client or Manager


Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
• Grade 12
• Forklift licence
• 1-2 years' experience in the related field
