We are seeking a Procurement Officer who is passionate about ethical sourcing, operational excellence, and people-first systems to join our Finance & Administration team.
About the Role
As Procurement Officer, you will play a critical role in streamlining procurement processes, ensuring cost-effective and timely sourcing of goods and services, managing supplier relationships, and supporting the rollout of SAP S/4HANA and Esker. You will collaborate across departments to deliver value-driven procurement solutions that enhance business performance and foster organizational trust.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and execute procurement activities aligned with departmental needs and budgets.
Lead internal bids and transparent sourcing practices.
Monitor and manage supplier contracts and relationships.
Oversee inventory and asset disposal compliance.
Ensure alignment with Uganda's procurement regulations and internal policies.
Drive ERP transition support for procurement functions (SAP S/4HANA & Esker).
Provide timely procurement reports and data-driven insights.

Profile
What We're Looking For
A bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
CIPS Level 4 (or higher) is a strong advantage.
At least 5 years of progressive procurement experience.
Proven experience with SAP S/4HANA and Esker platforms.
Knowledge of Uganda's procurement laws and regulatory landscape.
Strong negotiation, inventory control, contract management, and reporting skills.
