Mission Description
The candidate will support the overall activity of the IS department (Competency / Expertise) primarily by means of facilitation, planning, co-ordinating and reporting. The role is a key role that will ensure continuity and flexibility is maintained for the experts to fulfil their scope of work and that they can make leaps and bounds from reports and statistics drawn to help analyse overall productivity, Gaps and improvement areas.

Facilitation
• Provision for suitable and equipped training/induction venues for the team.
• Planning and co-ordination
• Support and maintain visibility of the IS teams movements and travels so as to feed management to benefit the planning around demands.
• Suggest and offer solutions to the IS team to best plan missions ensuring the cost and billings are handled appropriately.
• Communicate key changes, key alerts and key elements relating to awareness within the Geographical scope of the IS teamwork.
• Manage the accuracy and quality of all JACC staff timesheets - One2Team System
• Manage all projects deliverables - One2Team system
• Manage and follow KPI/SLA on A ‘Care ticketing System
• Onboarding new staff on A ‘Care process
• Control Expense Claims
• Organise teambuilding – monthly event to present new project/solution or success development
• Be part of a global Ascens team Abidjan-Paris-Johannesburg and Kigali, to animate a one team, communication and newsletters.
Reporting
• Manage User numbers and statistics for bulk training sessions, workshops and seminars.
• Maintain registry of trainees and subjects and be the link between HR and the IS team to ensure industry (eg. BEE requirements are met).
• Support the various teams by extracting reports from applications and ticketing systems and producing same in graphical methods.
• Provide support with presentations and by means of searching, analysing and accumulating information.
• Use comprehensive department statistics to offer improvement plans during periodic IS team meetings
Essential experience, skills and qualifications
• Basic IT knowledge (A+ & N)
• MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Visio and Excel) is fundamentally important
• Able to work independently as well as to participate effectively in a team environment
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Quick learner and fast thinker with the strong ability to respond and solve problems in an efficient manner
• Experience with one-on-one and group training both in-person and via web conference delivery
• Excitement for and drive to be the face of AGL and available as a go-to person for internal management of staff
• Strong passion for learning and teaching
• Proven ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
• Completed Matric
• Advanced computer skills
• Pivot tables professional
• A+ and N+ qualifications
• Willing to travel
• Excellent people skills
• 1-2 Years working experience in a similar position
• Exposure to either Maritime, freight forwarding, logistics operations or sales will be an advantage
• Must be well presented, well-spoken and have the ability to schedule and co-ordinate trainee's and perform training and task in front of an audience
