Timor Port, the country's first public-private partnership, will cost a total of $490 million over a 30-year period. The new port is located in Tibar Bay, 12 km from the capital Dili. Mission Description
About The Position
Timor Port S.A, a subsidiary of the AGL Group, is looking for a qualified candidate to fill the position of Electromechanical Trainee (1 Position). With the supervision of the senior team, the role will carry out maintenance and troubleshooting activities of all port equipment including STS crane, RTG crane, Mobile Harbor crane, & rolling trucks.
Note - The trainee position is entry-level for a period of 1 year. The assessment will take place towards the end of your training period, if you are successful, you will be awarded a long-term contract with the company.
The main responsibilities of the role will be:
• Assist in routine maintenance & repairs of all equipment in a safe working environment.
• Provide input for effective maintenance and repair of all equipment including first line Root Cause Analysis of equipment failures.
• Provide reliable service to operation is in a state of readiness and well-maintained.
• To ensure compliance of all equipment is in a safe working conditions and safety devices are fully functional.
• Able to conduct all the works with high quality of service as required to increase equipment performance.
• Reporting for necessary spare parts and update spare parts logbook.
• Strictly comply with terminal HSSE Policies & Procedures.
Profile
Eligibility Criteria:
• Diploma of Engineering in Electrical or Mechanic
• At least 1 to 2 years of hands-on experience in heavy equipment maintenance and trouble shooting.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and wiring drawings.
• Knowledge in the areas of electrical, mechanical and hydraulic maintenance; maintenance tools and tool organization methods.
• Computer literacy and English proficiency.
