Job description

Mission Description                      

Job Purpose:
To efficiently monitor and manage the company's Customs risk exposure relating to the warehousing of bonded goods.

 

Profile

Job Function:

Key Responsibilities:
• Managing Customs Acquittals, submitting of the same to Customs on request and applying for extensions.
• Issuing of Customs acceptance letters of goods into the bond stores.
• Capturing of external bonded entries (i.e. – WE / WH / XE / XIB / XRW etc.)
• Issuing of GRN and GDN
• Verifying Customs declarations and supporting documents against bonded cargo being received or being dispatched.
• Monitoring and updating of the external Customs bond store register.
• Managing the time expiry dates of all bonded goods and applying for extension when required.
• Assisting with Customs exam when required
• Labelling of bonded goods in the bond store
• Assisting with stock takes
• To ensure customs regulations are being complied with at any given time.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
- Matric
- 3 years' relevant working experience
- Strong analytical skills
