Mission Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Stores Clerk to join our dynamic transportation team. The Stores Clerk will be responsible for managing inventory, ensuring proper stock levels, and maintaining efficient store operations to support the company's logistics and transportation activities

Key Responsibilities
• Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain stock levels, ensuring all items are properly accounted for and available as needed.
• Receiving and Dispatching: Oversee the receipt and issuance of goods, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards.
• Stock Records: Maintain accurate records of all inventory transactions, updating the database regularly.
• Storage Organization: Ensure items are stored in an organized and accessible manner to promote efficiency and safety.
• Procurement Support: Assist in identifying stock needs and coordinating with procurement teams to replenish supplies.
• Stock Audits: Conduct periodic stock checks and reconcile discrepancies promptly.
• Compliance and Safety: Adhere to company policies, safety regulations, and standard operating procedures.
Qualifications and Skills
• Education: Minimum of a high school diploma; a diploma in supply chain management or a related field is an advantage.
• Experience: At least 2 years of experience in inventory management or storekeeping, preferably in a transportation or logistics company.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
• Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and accuracy in record-keeping.
• Physical Fitness: Ability to lift and move heavy items as required.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
