Job description

Mission Description                      

Supervise and monitor the Pricing Team and utilize the pricing systems and tools provided to ensure that the output of their performance contributes significantly to the General Strategy of Africa Global Logistics Tanzania Limited

 

Profile

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Provide technical and other support to the Pricing Team to ensure that they achieve the Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) set out for the department
- Generate visibility on the financial contribution/loss made by the Pricing Team
- Delegate Daily tasks and monitor the performance of the Pricing Team
- Provide interface between HOD and Pricing Officers to ensure validation and support is provided timeously
- Assist to generate tools, system, processes and procedures required to increase the efficiency of the quotation team
- Generate various reports that may be required to assist in the Commercial
Strategy and Company Strategy
- Handling Pricing related responses – complaints, compliments and clarifications
- Supporting to hire and retain new staff for the pricing team
- Organize and schedule submission of recurring quotations: MSC TBL, FOB solutions for IFF partners and matrix for sales team in inland countries
- Coordinate sourcing of IFF solution with group forwarders and shipping line
- Perform any duty as per managements direction
