                                         Mission Description                      
                    To provide liaison between the Company and KRA to ensure compliance with KRA Customs Act and Regulations.
Key responsibilities: - 
1. Give guidelines on Customs requirements to Heads of Operations. 
2. Liaise with Heads of Operations on Customs issues
3. Prepare Memorandum of Appeal and Statements of Facts to the Customs & Excise Appeals tribunal in liaison with the Legal Department.
4. Handle Tariff classification disputes.
5. Handle Valuation disputes.
6. Respond to queries and demands from KRA.
7. Follow up with Treasury officials on delayed letters of exemptions and other relevant issues for our clients. 
8. Advise clients on technical issues where they have sought assistance. 
9. Handle compounding of offences where satisfied an offence has been justified.
10. Prepare periodic Management reports
