Job description

Mission Description                      

Based in Nairobi and reporting to the Commodity Warehouse Supervisor – Coffee & Tea Warehouse, the successful applicant will be responsible for the following key result areas: -
1. Drive the vehicle carefully from the loading point to the destination within the agreed timeframes
2. Ensure transport and product documentation is dully filled and submitted
3. Deliver products on time and in full.
4. Attend to minor breakdowns and promptly reports incidents and accidents for action
5. Adhere to traffic and Company regulations
6. Conduct preliminary diagnosis of trucks and report to relevant persons
7. Ensure that scheduled servicing is done as it falls due
8. Ensure that trucks are clean at all times

 

Profile

1. O' level or equivalent
2. Valid relevant driving license
3. Basic knowledge in mechanics
4. Basic geographical knowledge
5. Five years' experience, 3 of which should be driving Heavy Commercial Vehicles
