Mission description

•Install, maintain and repair air conditioning systems and equipment
•Identify maintenance risks on equipment
•Diagnose electrical and mechanical defects and malfunctions
•Perform regular maintenance work on cooling units
•Inspect installations and observe operations to ensure compliance with design and equipment specifications and safety standards
•Use specialized tools and diagnostic equipment to test and repair equipment
•Ensure proper installation, calibration and set-up of equipment

 

Profile

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Air Conditioning Technician to install, maintain and repair air conditioning systems. The technician will be skilled in cleaning, adjusting and repairing systems. He or she will guide and advise the customer to select the most appropriate air conditioning equipment for their needs. The ideal candidate will be patient and friendly with excellent problem-solving skills. Good physical condition and attention to detail will be required for the successful execution of duties.

Required
•Must be a Sierra Leonean
•High School Diploma or equivalent; Certificate in HVAC, building maintenance technology or relevant field will be a plus
•3 years Proven experience as an AC technician
•Must possess a valid driver's license
•Excellent understanding of advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration and heating
•Working knowledge of boiler systems
•Proficient in balancing air and water treatment systems in line with HVAC protocols
