Job description

Mission Description                      

To lead and manage all shipping operations, ensuring the efficient, compliant, and cost-effective movement of import, export, and transshipment cargo. The Shipping Manager is responsible for overseeing shipping documentation, vessel operations, customer service, regulatory compliance, staff performance, and continuous process improvement while maintaining excellent relationships with clients, shipping lines, port authorities, customs, and other stakeholders.

Minimum requirements:
Education:
• Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Maritime Studies, Transport Management, Business Management or a related field.
• Relevant shipping or maritime qualifications will be advantageous.

Experience:
• Minimum 5–10 years' experience within the shipping or logistics industry.
• Minimum 3–5 years in a management role.
• Experience managing import, export and vessel operations.
• Strong understanding of port operations and shipping documentation.
• Experience dealing with shipping lines, customs authorities and port stakeholders.
• Financial and budget management experience.
