Mission Description                      

The Corporate Communications Manager is responsible for developing and delivering strategic communications that enhance AGL's internal culture, external reputation, and stakeholder engagement in Kenya and the East Africa region.
The role supports key campaigns, leadership visibility, CSR storytelling, and integrated logistics messaging, always rooted in AGL's purpose: At the heart of Africa's transformation.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Communications & Marketing
- Develop and implement an integrated corporate communications and marketing strategy aligned with AGL's strategic objectives.
- Ensure brand consistency and voice across all communication platforms, internal and external.
- Provide strategic counsel to senior leadership on communication issues, crisis management, and public perception.

2. External relations and Reputation Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with media houses and journalists across Africa.

- Draft and disseminate press releases, op-eds, speeches, and media kits.

- Monitor media coverage and provide regular analysis and reports to leadership.

- Manage reputation and coordinate crisis communication responses when needed.

3. Brand and Campaign Management
- Lead the development of communication materials, promotional content, and multimedia assets in line with AGL's identity.
- Oversee execution campaigns that amplify AGL's work in logistics, sustainability, and social impact.
- Support business development teams with collateral, messaging, and storytelling assets.

4. Marketing & Campaign Management
- Design and execute regional marketing campaigns to support commercial teams and enhance customer engagement.
- Oversee development of marketing collateral, digital content, and promotional materials.
- Measure and report on effectiveness of marketing and communications initiatives, adjusting strategies as needed.

Experience
 Bachelor's degree in communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field. A Master's degree is an added advantage.
 Minimum 7–10 years of progressive experience in communications and marketing, preferably within a regional or multinational organization.
 Proven experience in leading multi-country communications campaigns.
 Strong experience in media relations, strategic writing, and brand management.
