Job description

Mission Description                      

Reporting to the Procurement Manager, the candidate will be responsible for: -

1.Cost Reduction. Assist in analyzing and controlling procurement costs, identifying opportunities for cost savings.
2. Market research. Conduct regular market research to understand the market trends, gather supplier information and support purchase decisions.
3.LPO processing. Prepare and issue purchase orders based on the company requirements, ensuring timely and accurate procurement of materials
4.Document Management. Manage procurement related documents and record to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
5.Interdepartmental Collaboration. Maintain good communication and collaboration with various departments to ensure smooth procurement process and fulfillment of requirements
6.Keep a record of updated quotations and follow up with the suppliers on price changes
7.Maintain an updated database of reliable suppliers
8.Ensure proper record keeping and tracking of all orders
9.Coordinate and update users on monthly/routine orders

 

Profile

• Degree in Procurement and Logistics
• 3 years' experience
• Member of the Kenya Institute of Supplies Management (KISM)
