Mission description

Provide support to the accounting department by assisting with reconciling accounts, analyzing financial data, completing tax fillings and aiding the chief accountant on all accounting related duties.

 

Profile

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES DETAILS

• Conducting daily bank account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger balances
• Fix asset creation and follow-up processes
• Monitoring and Review of suppliers and customer's account details and to make sure they comply with due diligence and account creation processes.
• Preparation of Accruals and prepayment schedule
• Assist to reviewing and improving financial policies and control systems
• Preparing and submitting tax documents and ensuring compliance with tax regulations (WHT/PAYE/NASSIT/CIT/BIK/GST)
• Assist in coordinating internal and external audits and implementing audit findings to improve financial processes
• Monitoring and maintaining financial information in accounting systems, ensuring their accuracy and compliance with regulations and best practice
• Assist on monthly closing
• Ensure all accounts are correctly allocated and assist on revaluation procedures
• Any other duties assigned by supervisor
