Mission Description
Reporting to the Finance Manager,the candidate will be responsible for organizing and leading the accurate documentation, reconciliation, reporting and filing of operational financial transactions of the ANT business. Specific tasks will be to:-
Manage operational financial transactions applicable to the files and staff at ANT.
1. Manage ANT accounting operations.
2. Prepare and verify vouchers and committal documents in accordance with Company rules and regulations.
3. Prepare and maintain primary records such as cash requisition, vouchers, cash books, ledgers, registers and preparation of simple management reports e.g. allowances and operational expenditure returns etc.
4. Ensure safe custody of ANT accounting /financial records and assets
5. Prepare requisitions, post payment and receipt vouchers in the cash register, balance and rule the cash register on daily basis.
6. Arrange for timely withdrawal of cash or payments for operational office use while ensuring compliance in handling the same.
7. Ensure safekeeping of stamps, vouchers, cheques and any other forms, tools / or documents.
8. Prepare expenditure and authority to incur expenditure returns on weekly and monthly basis.
9. Document requests and records for payment of personal and merchant claims guided by Company regulations.
Financial operational monitoring
10. Analyze and suggest strategies to react to changing business trends, operational and financial needs.
11. Determine the crucial needs of key Clients, operations and communicate this to the management to ensure the Customer receives first-class service.
12. Conduct quarterly user satisfaction surveys and propose necessary improvements.
13. Participate to the monthly account reviews.
Reporting
14. Analyze and profile operations accounts based on financial performance, value, potential and generate periodic reports.
15. Generate weekly / monthly financial operations reports for consultative review with management.
16. Keep Management updated on operational financial status and needs.
Profile
1. Diploma / Degree in Finance or related field.
2. Registered member of ICPAK
3. Working Knowledge of SAP
4. Three years experience in a busy organization
