Mission Description                      

Role Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Light Vehicle Technician to join our busy workshop. You will be responsible for servicing, diagnosing, and repairing a wide range of light vehicles to the highest manufacturer standards. The ideal candidate is a problem-solver who takes pride in their work and ensures every customer's vehicle is safe and reliable

 

Profile

Key Responsibilities
• Diagnostics: Use advanced computerized diagnostic equipment to accurately trace, identify, and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults.
• Servicing: Carry out routine servicing, tuning, and maintenance checks in line with manufacturer specifications.
• Repairs: Remove, repair, and replace faulty parts and components (e.g., brakes, clutches, suspension, exhaust systems).
• Compliance: Ensure all work is completed safely, complies with industry regulations, and meets quality control standards.
• Communication: Clearly document all work performed/recommended and communicate with Service Advisors regarding any additional required work or estimated repair times.
• Workshop Upkeep: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace and ensure company tools are properly accounted for.

Qualifications & Experience
• Proven experience working as a Light Vehicle Technician, Mechanic, or similar role.
• Strong understanding of Modern vehicle electrical and mechanical systems.
• Relevant industry qualifications (e.g., certificate/diploma in auto technician, or equivalent).
• Ability to use and interpret data from diagnostic tools and technical manuals.
• A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
