Mission Description                      

CONTEXT
Within AGL's IT Department, attached to the Freight Forwarding & Transit department, we are recruiting for a permanent contract a Test Lead to join the team Connect Logistics.
Put into production in March 2025, Connect Logistics is an orchestrator bus that collects, cleans, and consolidates data from our operational systems (TMS), before delivering it on a web portal dedicated to our clients.
In a transformation context, the project enters a new phase:
• Expand its scope functionally,
• Become a central component of the Transit & ecosystem Freight Forwarding, orchestrating data exchanges between logistics applications and ensuring the reliability of shared information.
Under the responsibility of the Connect Logistics Solution Manager, you will actively participate in the validation of the functional and technical processing chain, from individual components through their interactions to end-to-end business processes.
Working closely with Product Owners, development teams, business stakeholders, partners and RUN teams, you will coordinate testing activities throughout the delivery lifecycle. You will contribute to the successful delivery of new integrations and product evolutions by ensuring that testing activities are properly planned, executed, automated where appropriate, and completed in line with project milestones and quality standards.

MAIN MISSIONS
Tests Management
• Analyze User Stories and functional specifications and translate them into test requirements.
• Define and maintain the test base (Azure Test Plans): requirements, test cases, test datasets and test campaigns.
• Prepare and manage all prerequisites required for test execution.
• Coordinate functional, integration, regression and end-to-end testing activities across all stakeholders.
• Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business teams.
• Contribute to Go / No-Go decisions before production deployments.
• Ensure testing activities are completed in accordance with project milestones and release planning.

Test Execution & Automation
• Execute functional, integration, regression and confirmation testing.
• Validate the complete processing chain, from operational data reception through to customer delivery.
• Execute documented automated testing procedures.
• Develop, maintain and improve automated test scenarios using tools such as Postman.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of test automation and regression coverage.
• Ensure the sustainability and maintainability of the testing assets implemented.

Defect Management & Reporting
• Record, qualify and track defects using Azure DevOps.
• Ensure full traceability between requirements, test cases and identified defects.
• Coordinate with development teams to monitor defect resolution.
• Validate fixes through confirmation and regression testing.
• Communicate testing progress, testing forecasts and overall

Profile

Qualifications & Experience
• Master's degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems or equivalent.
• Proven experience in software testing or application validation within Agile environments.
• Experience using test management tools and coordinating testing campaigns.
• Experience with enterprise integration platforms, middleware or distributed systems is highly desirable.
• Functional knowledge of Logistics and/or International Transportation, preferably within a Freight Forwarding environment, is a plus.

Technical Skills
• Experience with Azure Test Plans or equivalent test management tools.
• Strong SQL skills for database validation and data consistency checks.
• Experience with Azure DevOps.
• Good understanding of integration architectures and technologies, including Enterprise Service Bus, APIs, messaging systems and EDI.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure integration services, particularly Azure Service Bus, is an advantage.
• Ability to read technical logs and troubleshoot complex processing flows.
• Experience automating tests using Postman; knowledge of Newman or similar automation frameworks is an asset.
• Good understanding of JSON, XML and data mapping concepts.
• Experience with documentation and collaboration tools such as Confluence and SharePoint.
