Mission description

Job Purpose:

The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) Officer will work closely with the HRBP Manager and the Recruitment Officer to support the effective implementation of HR strategies and recruitment plan, talent management, employee relations, performance management, with the company's strategic objectives, culture, and operational needs.

Job Function

Strategic HR Partnership:

- Collaborate with the Recruitment Officer to translate workforce plans into
recruitment needs and ensure timely onboarding of talent.
- Support management in aligning HR practices with business goals and
operational priorities.
- Act as a trusted HR partner to managers by providing guidance on people
management, workforce planning, and organizational effectiveness.

Onboarding Protocol:

- In collaboration with the HRBP Manager and hiring manager, develop an
onboarding protocol.
- Work closely with the Recruitment Officer to ensure smooth onboarding,
probation management, and integration of new hires.
- Provide input into job design, role clarity, and competency requirements to
support effective recruitment and performance.
- Support talent development initiatives, succession planning, and internal mobility
in collaboration with line managers.

Employee Development

- Identify individual and organizational training and capacity-building needs
through performance reviews, skills gap assessments, and engagement with line
managers.
- Coordinate with the HRBP Manager and/or external training providers to design,
plan, and implement relevant training, coaching, and development programs.
- Support the development and rollout of annual training plans aligned with
organizational priorities and workforce development goals.
- Support managers in creating individual development plans (IDPs) and career
development pathways for employees.

Internal & External Stakeholder Coordination

- Work closely with the Recruitment Officer to ensure alignment between
recruitment, onboarding, and employee lifecycle management.

- Collaborate with line managers, senior leadership, and external partners on HR-
related initiatives.

- Support audits, inspections, and engagements with external stakeholders as
required.

HR Policies, Compliance & Governance

- Ensure HR practices comply with labor laws, internal policies, and organizational
standards.
- Support the consistent application of HR policies across departments.
- Maintain accurate HR records and documentation related to employee lifecycle
events.

 

Profile

Employee Relations & HR Advisory

- Serve as the point of contact for employee relations matters, providing guidance
on policies, procedures, and labor law compliance.
- Support managers in handling disciplinary issues, and conflict resolution in a fair
and consistent manner.
- Promote a positive workplace culture based on respect, engagement, and
accountability.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration,
Psychology, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, preferably in an HR
Business Partner.
- Strong understanding of labor laws, HR policies, and best practices.
- Experience working with HR information systems (HRIS).
