Mission Description
Based in Nairobi and reporting to the HR Manager-Nairobi, the role exits to provide HR and administrative support to the ANT team with specific deliverables as:-
1. Participate in the recruitment & selection process by drafting adverts, preparing a candidate shortlist for interviews, preparing requests for employment documents with relevant attachments, call selected candidates to sign the offer letter and discuss start dates.
2. Monitor induction of new staff, process staff badges, manage probations, confirmation and assist with following up on outstanding documents both from employee and HOD end.
3. Prepare training memos, maintain the training attendance list and training reports.
4. Participate in the disciplinary and grievance handling process through coordinating invites, taking minutes, provide advise/guidelines for hearings to the panel, filing the correspondence, give timely feedback to staff, prepare notices, minutes, summons, warning, caution letters etc. and ensure the process is executed in time.
5. Assist in managing a performance appraisal system that drives high performance
6. Prepare monthly staff airtime entitlement for approvals
7. Prepare payroll inputs ( overtime, Staff changes, HELB deductions, new and exiting staff e.t.c.)
8. Prepare the Site stationery and drinking water requests and follow up on deliveries
9. Support in enforcing the use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment's (PPE) all the time by the warehouse operatives
10. Support in enforcing all QHSE regulations to ensure safe working conditions and practice within the offices and yard.
11. Follow up on the drivers allowances, trip returns, tally sheets update and filing in real time.
12. Attend daily toolbox and other meetings, take minutes and follow up on the open matters to closure.
13. Escalate any challenges faced in performance of your duties in real time for assistance
Profile
1.Higher Diploma in Business administration/ Human Resources Management
2.CHRP Qualification.
3. Two years experience
