Description de la mission 

Contract: 24-month fixed-term contract (CDD 2 ans)
Location: Tibar Bay, Timor-Leste

Located in Timor-Leste, at the heart of South-East Asia, Timor Port, operated by AGL, runs the modern Tibar Bay terminal, the country's first public-private partnership. A major regional logistics hub, it handles containers, bulk cargo and general cargo, while also providing integrated logistics services. Thanks to its strategic location, the port efficiently connects Asia-Pacific, Africa and Australia, contributing to Timor-Leste's economic and commercial development.

More specifically, your responsibilities will include:
• Monitor and control revenue by analyzing port calls, activity volumes and data consistency across operational, financial and accounting systems.
• Contribute to compliance controls under the Sapin II Act.
• Support the validation of invoicing for port and maritime activities, ensuring the reliability of the data used.
• Produce performance analyses covering revenue, volumes handled and key operational indicators.
• Monitor and analyze variable costs (maritime services, labor, overtime and equipment operation) to optimize operational profitability.
• Contribute to the monitoring of fixed costs and carry out ad hoc financial analyses at the request of the Finance Department.
• Support the monthly closing process by preparing provisions, expenses and the information required to produce the financial results.
• Prepare management reports and variance analyses by comparing actual performance against budgets and forecasts.
• Ensure the timely production and reliability of financial data across the Group's reporting tools.
• Contribute to budget preparation, reforecasting and investment monitoring, working closely with the Finance and Operations teams.
• Support the terminal's development projects, particularly strategic initiatives and activities relating to the Oil & Gas sector, by providing relevant financial and operational analyses.

 

Profil 

You hold a master's degree from a business school or an equivalent university qualification;
You have initial experience in financial control within the industrial, logistics or construction sector, ideally including on-site experience;
You are organized and inquisitive, with strong active listening skills, excellent interpersonal skills and a rigorous approach;
You are proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel;
Professional proficiency in English is essential for success in this role (C1 level).
An affinity with Asia would be an advantage!
