Job description

Full time

Mission Description                      

In our Nairobi Transport Department and reporting to the Fleet Manager.
The successful applicant will be responsible for the following key result areas: -

1.Prepare and issue accurate invoices to clients in line with agreed contracts, tariffs, or quotations.
2. Verify billing details against supporting documents (job cards, delivery notes, service records, or contracts).
3. Ensure all invoices are raised and dispatched on time.
4.Follow up with operations and commercial teams to resolve billing discrepancies or missing documentation.
5.Support credit control by providing clients with invoice copies or statements when required.
6.Assist in reconciling customer accounts and reporting outstanding balances.
7.Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (e.g., VAT, withholding tax) in invoicing.
8.Support auditors and management with documentation during audits and reviews.
9.Perform other clerical and finance-related duties as assigned

 

Profile

1. CPA 1
2. Knowledge of the transport industry's operations
3. 1 year experience working in Transport & Logistics Company or C & F.
