Job Purpose:

Identify new customers and secure new business for BALSA.


Job Summary

•	Make a minimum of 40 New Quality calls per month – Uploaded in in COMONE System.
•	Make a minimum of an additional 80 calls per month.
•	Development the target customer base in line with budget. 
•	Meet new business revenue targets as agreed.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
Job Function: 

•	Promote and create awareness of BALSA PTY LTD in the market
•	Secure/Sign new business which has never been handled by BALSA before
•	Competencies and Skills to sell across all verticals/industries 
•	Contribute to BALSA PTY LTD revenue targets through selling, participation in planning and strategy development. Drive revenue growth and expand market share
•	Develop presentations and client- specific sales material.
•	Attend to client quotations and follow up agreed rates/services and sales leads.
•	Develop and manage joint sales campaigns with Company global offices and other Partners.
•	Arrange and set monthly joint sales and service calls with local BALSA Management support and as and when required for national and international visitors.
•	Prepare and submit monthly sales report.
•	Share advisory notices with clients as changes occur in the market
•	Hold weekly Branch sales meetings with relevant Managers/BALSA staff to present progress on sales, opportunities, pipeline and strategy to close new business.
•	Support finance where payments are not made on time on specific account
•	Attend and secure leads at conferences, industry conventions etc 
•	Any other delegated tasks deemed as reasonable as assigned by the reporting manager

Minimum Requirements: State educational and experience requirements
•	Matric
•	Min 5 years' experience in sales environment in all transport modes (air, sea, road and rail) is essential. Strong knowledge of all verticals
•	Projects knowledge of heavy lift out of gauge shipments advantageous
•	Good interpersonal skills and presentation skills
•	Results Oriented and astute negotiator
•	Must be confident and assertive
•	Computer literacy required, e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint
•	Ability to put together Tenders in response to Client Requirements
•	Must have a sense of urgency and able to handle extreme pressure. Be able to meet strict deadlines.
•	Thick skinned and able to handle and convert rejection
•	The ability to manage and identify problems affecting customers and provide constructive feedback and solutions
•	Proven track record in dealing with customers on high level.

1. Sales &amp; Business Development
•	Identify, profile and prospect new customers and business opportunities within the CFS, logistics, shipping and cargo-handling market.
•	Develop and maintain a structured database of prospective and existing customers.
•	Conduct regular customer visits, calls, meetings and other business development activities.
•	Generate qualified leads and actively convert prospects into customers.
•	Develop individual sales plans aligned to agreed commercial priorities and targets.

2 Customer &amp; Account Management
•	Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
•	Develop a clear understanding of customers' cargo profiles, business requirements and service expectations.
•	Maintain regular engagement with customers to identify opportunities for increased volumes and additional services.
•	Identify opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling relevant CFS and related services.
•	Monitor customer activity and proactively identify risks to retention or declining business.
•	Follow up on customer concerns and coordinate resolution with the relevant internal teams.

3. Sales Pipeline &amp; Conversion
•	Maintain an accurate and up-to-date sales pipeline covering leads, prospects, opportunities, quotations, proposals and conversions.
•	Ensure sales opportunities are actively progressed with clear next actions and expected closure dates.
•	Follow up systematically on quotations, proposals, RFQs and other commercial opportunities.
•	Record customer interactions, sales activities and opportunities in the approved CRM or sales tracking system.
•	Monitor conversion performance and identify factors affecting successful or lost business.

4.Revenue &amp; Cargo Volume Growth
•	Achieve agreed individual sales, revenue and business development targets.
•	Drive growth in CFS cargo volumes from both new and existing customers.
•	Identify opportunities to increase business from existing accounts.

5.Market &amp; Competitor Intelligence
•	Monitor developments within the Mombasa port, CFS, shipping and logistics market.
•	Track competitor activity, service offerings, pricing trends and customer movements.
•	Identify emerging opportunities arising from changes in trade flows, cargo volumes and customer requirements.

6. Sales Reporting &amp; Performance Management
•	Prepare accurate and timely sales activity and performance reports as required.
•	Track customer visits, prospects, leads, RFQs, proposals, conversions and revenue performance.
•	Monitor individual performance against agreed sales and business development targets.
•	Maintain accurate customer databases, sales trackers and CRM records

•	Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
•	Professional qualification in Sales and Marketing will be an added advantage.
•	Minimum 3 years' experience in sales or business development, preferably within CFS, clearing and forwarding, freight forwarding, shipping, transport or a related logistics environment.
•	Proven experience in B2B sales, customer acquisition and account development.
•	Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining customer relationships.
•	Experience working with CFAs, importers/exporters, shipping lines, cargo owners or other logistics stakeholders will be an advantage.

MISSIONS : 

Le Responsable Chef de Projet Customer Business Solutions (CBS) -H/F- pilote le déploiement des solutions digitales et des offres de visibilité auprès des clients stratégiques d'AGL. Il garantit la réussite des projets, coordonne le réseau CBS et accompagne les équipes commerciales, opérationnelles et techniques dans la conception et la mise en œuvre de solutions adaptées aux besoins des clients.

Principales Responsabilités :

Management de l'équipe CBS:
- Définir le dimensionnement de l'équipe CBS et piloter le processus de nomination des CBS et experts
- Concevoir et déployer le parcours d'intégration des nouveaux collaborateurs (on-boarding, formations, accompagnement)
- Développer les compétences de l'équipe et mettre en œuvre les plans de formation et de gestion des talents
- Fixer les objectifs annuels et conduire les entretiens de performance
- Accompagner l'évolution professionnelle et les plans de carrière des CBS

Pilotage des projets:
- Superviser le portefeuille de projets CBS et prioriser les ressources selon les besoins commerciaux et opérationnels
- Garantir le respect des méthodologies, des standards et des bonnes pratiques de gestion de projet
- Valider les livrables projets : expression de besoins, spécifications fonctionnelles, supports de présentation, plans de déploiement et formations
- Assurer le suivi des délais, des risques et de la qualité des déploiements

Expertise &amp; Solutions Clients:
- Intervenir en tant qu'expert sur les comptes stratégiques lors des phases d'avant-vente, de conception et de déploiement
- Accompagner la définition de solutions digitales (Track &amp; Trace, EDI/API, Portail Client, Reporting BI…)
- Identifier les besoins d'évolution des outils internes et proposer des améliorations en collaboration avec les équipes transverses
- Animer des ateliers de co-construction avec les parties prenantes

Reporting et Gouvernance:
- Produire les indicateurs de performance de l'activité CBS et le reporting projets
- Présenter l'avancement des projets et les analyses à la Direction
- Identifier les risques, alerter sur les points critiques et proposer des plans d'actions

Animation du réseau &amp; Communication:
- Animer la communauté CBS à l'échelle du réseau Afrique

PROFIL

Formation :
De formation bac +3/5 en Supply Chain, Transport &amp; Logistique, Informatique ou Gestion de projet

Expérience :
- 5 ans minimum d'expérience dans le transport, la logistique ou les systèmes d'information appliqués à la Supply Chain
- Expérience confirmée en pilotage de projets transverses et en relation client B2B

Compétences techniques : 
- Excellente connaissance des métiers du Freight Forwarding et de la logistique internationale
- Gestion de projet (déploiement, coordination, conduite du changement)
- Conception et implémentation de solutions digitales : Track &amp; Trace, EDI/API, Portail Client

Dans le cadre du développement de son offre PME et de sa transformation digitale, AGL Côte d'Ivoire recherche un Responsable Développement Offre PME, chargé de fédérer les métiers, les fonctions support et l'écosystème digital autour d'une feuille de route locale, notamment WeGoAfrica.

À ce titre, vous serez chargé de :

- Définir et déployer la stratégie de développement des offres PME, notamment l'offre WeGoAfrica dédiée aux PME ivoiriennes : commission de transport (C&amp;F), groupage import/export, entreposage, chaîne du froid et services associés ;
- Affiner le positionnement des offres PME au sein de l'écosystème digital et logistique d'AGL Côte d'Ivoire ;
- Construire, maintenir et piloter une feuille de route unique des initiatives PME et innovation en Côte d'Ivoire, en coordination avec les équipes commerciales et opérationnelles, les fonctions support et les partenaires locaux ;
- Assurer la priorisation des initiatives et projets en tenant compte des MVP, quick wins, besoins du marché ivoirien et investissements de plus long terme ;
- Organiser et animer les instances de coordination locales : comités de pilotage, points opérationnels et synchronisation avec les sponsors métiers et la Direction Générale ;
- Mettre en place une gouvernance projet claire, intégrant les rituels de pilotage, les indicateurs, les modes de décision et la gestion des arbitrages ;
- Structurer et coordonner les initiatives locales relatives au groupage import/export, à l'entreposage partagé, aux solutions de chaîne du froid, à la digitalisation des parcours clients ainsi qu'à la tarification et aux modèles de services adaptés aux PME ;
- Capitaliser sur les retours clients et les retours d'expérience des équipes locales afin d'améliorer continuellement l'offre ;
- Assurer le rôle de référent local pour les outils et solutions digitales dédiés aux PME et remonter les besoins des clients et des équipes locales afin d'alimenter les feuilles de route pilotées par les équipes centrales ;
- Accompagner le déploiement et l'adoption des solutions digitales auprès des équipes commerciales et opérationnelles, suivre leurs usages et identifier les axes d'amélioration de l'expérience client ;
- Participer au lancement de nouvelles fonctionnalités et de nouveaux services, notamment à travers les actions de formation, de communication et d'activation commerciale locale ;
- Définir et suivre les indicateurs de performance de l'offre PME : adoption, volumes traités, taux d'usage, acquisition, rétention, satisfaction client, marge additionnelle et retour sur investissement ;
- Mettre en place un reporting local consolidé permettant le pilotage de l'activité par la Direction Générale d'AGL Côte d'Ivoire et les fonctions concernées ;

- Bac+5 (école de commerce, école d'ingénieurs, université) ou formation équivalente ;
- 7 à 10 ans d'expérience dans un ou plusieurs des domaines suivants : logistique et/ou transport ; gestion de projets ou programmes transverses ; développement d'offres ou de produits dans les secteurs du digital, des services, de la logistique ou du e-commerce ;
conseil en stratégie ou transformation, idéalement sur des problématiques liées aux PME ou au marché ivoirien ;

Job Purpose:
The Business Development Representative is responsible for identifying, pursuing, and securing new transport and logistics business opportunities for AGL. Education

Job Purpose

The role will focus on expanding AGL's presence across the Mining sector by developing end-to-end logistics solutions, understanding customer requirements and positioning AGL as a strategic logistics partner throughout the Mining value chain.

Key Responsibilities
1. Business Development &amp; New Business Acquisition
•	Develop and execute a Mining business development strategy for Zimbabwe, aligned with AGL's overall commercial strategy.
•	Identify, qualify and develop new Mining business opportunities across Zimbabwe.
•	Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospects, opportunities and potential projects.
•	Identify upcoming mining projects, mine expansions, construction projects and operational requirements.
•	Develop relationships with Mining companies, contractors, EPCs, suppliers and other key industry stakeholders.
•	Proactively identify customer logistics challenges and develop appropriate AGL solutions.
•	Convert identified opportunities into profitable new business and long-term contracts.
•	Develop opportunities across the Mining supply chain, including inbound logistics, transportation, warehousing, project logistics, heavy equipment, mining inputs and export flows.
2. Strategic Account Management
•	Develop and maintain strong relationships with key Mining customers.
•	Develop Account Plans for strategic and high-potential Mining customers.
•	Understand customer business strategies, operational requirements and future projects to identify additional business opportunities.
•	Identify opportunities to increase AGL's share of wallet across existing customers.
•	Conduct regular customer meetings, business reviews and commercial discussions.
•	Act as a trusted commercial advisor and key point of contact for strategic Mining customers.
•	Monitor customer satisfaction and proactively address commercial or service-related concerns.
3. Sales Pipeline &amp; Commercial Performance
•	Maintain an accurate and up-to-date Mining sales pipeline and opportunity forecast.
•	Track opportunities from initial identification through qualification, proposal, negotiation and contract award.
•	Develop and maintain accurate sales forecasts for Mining.
•	Monitor revenue, margins and commercial performance of Mining accounts.
•	Ensure opportunities are prioritised based on strategic value, revenue potential, profitability and probability of conversion.
•	Provide regular business development and pipeline updates to Country and Regional Management.
•	Identify risks, challenges and opportunities within the Mining portfolio and recommend appropriate actions.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
. Tender &amp; Proposal Management
•	Lead the commercial development of Mining tenders, RFQs and RFPs in collaboration with the Bid Team.

•	Ensure proposals clearly demonstrate AGL's capabilities, value proposition and competitive advantage.
•	Lead commercial negotiations with customers and support contract finalisation.
•	Ensure appropriate handover of newly awarded business to the Operations and Project teams.
5. Market Intelligence &amp; Mining Sector Development
•	Maintain a strong understanding of the Zimbabwean Mining market and its key players.
•	Monitor new mining developments, mine expansions, construction projects and investment activity.
•	Identify market trends, customer needs and competitor activity.
•	Develop and maintain a network of key contacts across the Mining industry.
•	Represent AGL at relevant Mining conferences, industry events and customer forums.
•	Provide market intelligence to Management to support commercial and strategic decision-making.
6. Solution Development &amp; Customer Value
•	Work closely with Operations and Projects to develop practical and commercially viable logistics solutions.
•	Identify opportunities to provide integrated, end-to-end logistics solutions.
•	Develop solutions covering road transportation, warehousing, project logistics, heavy equipment, customs, freight forwarding, supply chain and export logistics, where applicable.
•	Identify opportunities to leverage AGL's wider regional and international network to support Zimbabwean Mining customers.
•	Ensure solutions are scalable, competitive and aligned with customer requirements.
7. Internal Collaboration &amp; Business Handover
•	Work closely with Operations, Projects, Finance, Bid Management and other internal stakeholders to develop and secure business.
•	Ensure clear communication of customer requirements and commercial commitments.
•	Facilitate effective handover from Business Development to Operations following contract award.
•	Maintain strong collaboration with Regional Mining and Commercial teams where opportunities require cross-border or international support.
•	Contribute to continuous improvement of AGL's Mining value proposition and commercial approach.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
•	5–10+ years of proven experience in Business Development, Sales, Commercial Management or Key Account Management, preferably within logistics, transportation or supply chain.
•	Proven experience and network within the Mining sector in Zimbabwe.
•	Strong understanding of Mining logistics and the Mining supply chain.
•	Demonstrated track record of winning new business and growing existing customer accounts.

Job Purpose:
The Regional Vertical Manager – Agribusiness is responsible for driving the commercial development and growth of the Agribusiness vertical across the assigned region.
The role is responsible for growing revenue and gross margin, developing strategic customer accounts, identifying new business opportunities and coordinating Agribusiness activities across countries.
As the regional commercial reference for Agribusiness, the role ensures alignment between customer requirements, market opportunities, AGL's operational capabilities and the Group's strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities: 
Deployment of the Agribusiness Vertical Strategy
•	Implement the Group's Agribusiness strategy across the assigned region, adapting it to local market conditions.
•	Identify and prioritise strategic Agribusiness customers, prospects and market opportunities.
•	Develop and promote AGL's Agribusiness logistics solutions across key commodity and agricultural value chains.
•	Identify opportunities for investments, partnerships and capabilities that support the growth of the vertical.
•	Strengthen AGL's position as a preferred logistics partner within the Agribusiness sector.
Business Development &amp; Portfolio Management
•	Manage strategic regional Agribusiness accounts and prospects, with accountability for revenue and gross margin growth.
•	Lead the commercial sales cycle from prospecting and qualification through RFQs, tenders, negotiations and contract award.
•	Act as the senior commercial sponsor for complex or multi-country opportunities.
•	Support Country Business Development Managers on strategic opportunities and customer engagements.
•	Develop cross-selling and integrated logistics opportunities across AGL's services.
•	Contribute to pricing strategies and ensure consistent commercial positioning across the region.
Market Intelligence &amp; Value Proposition
•	Monitor Agribusiness market trends, commodity flows, supply chains, competitors and customer requirements.
•	Identify emerging opportunities and changes in the agricultural supply chain.
•	Provide market insights to HQ to support the development of AGL's Agribusiness value proposition.
•	Report regularly on pipeline, revenue, gross margin, wins/losses and key market developments.
•	Provide regular market insights to the Head of Vertical Market – Agribusiness to support the refinement of AGL's sector value propositions and solutions.
•	Contribute to the development of regional Agribusiness market intelligence and customer mapping.
•	Report monthly on commercial performance.
Coordination &amp; Functional Leadership of Country Commercial Teams
•	Provide functional leadership and support to Agribusiness Business Development Managers across the region.
•	Conduct pipeline and opportunity reviews and share best practices across countries.
•	Coordinate regional Agribusiness commercial initiatives with Country Directors and Commercial Directors.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;

•	Demonstrated ability to develop and manage strategic customer accounts and deliver revenue and gross margin growth.
•	Proven experience managing complex sales cycles, including RFQs, tenders, commercial negotiations and contract closing.
•	Strong ability to develop and orchestrate complex multimodal logistics solutions, including ocean FCL/LCL, air freight, bulk logistics, flexitanks, warehousing and related supply chain services.

Rattaché au Responsable Commercial / Business Development Manager, le Customer Care Officer sera chargé de :


- Assurer la gestion et le suivi de la boîte mail dédiée aux réclamations clients ;

- Constituer le point d'entrée unique pour l'ensemble des réclamations et garantir leur traçabilité ;

- Enregistrer, analyser et qualifier chaque réclamation dans l'outil de suivi dédié ;

- Vérifier la qualité et l'exhaustivité des informations transmises par les clients ;

- Attribuer et suivre les tickets de réclamation jusqu'à leur clôture ;

- Identifier les équipes opérationnelles concernées et assurer l'affectation des dossiers ;

- Veiller au respect des délais de prise en charge et effectuer les relances nécessaires ;

- Assurer le suivi quotidien de l'avancement des dossiers et escalader les situations bloquantes ;

- Contrôler la qualité des réponses apportées avant la clôture des réclamations ;

- Informer régulièrement les clients de l'évolution de leurs dossiers et maintenir une communication proactive ;

MEASURABLE OBJECTIVES	
•	Achieving a minimum of 450,000 USD gross margin per year 
 This might be increased by HFO on yearly basis and based on historical 
 performance.
•	Performance review tool: POWER BI CLIENT PERFORMANCE 
•	Metric: Gross margin against target 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop new business opportunities 

	Identification of new potential clients 
	Understand client supply chain and tailor-made logistics solutions that brings value to the client.
	Provide logistics solution across AGL value proposition: International freight forwarding, ICD, customs clearance, transport, warehousing, distribution and value adding services 
	Sizing the opportunity based on volumes, and pricing effectively to secure gross margin for AGL 
	Report to management about potential opportunities through COMONE (CRM)
	Anticipate incoming RFQ-tenders from client pipeline 
	Coordinate with legal department contractual negotiations 
	Driving implementation meeting with the client and operational teams
	Visit clients on daily basis and report to management with minutes of the meeting 
	Attend social events that might translate in business opportunity for the organization 

Customer retention, expansion, and sustainability 
	Monthly or quarterly meetings with existing customer base, reviewing customer satisfaction with KPI provided by the operational team 
	Identification of new business services that can be provided to existing clients
	Supporting operations in invoicing- operational dispute management
	Following up with credit control team on pending payment and clients' SOA 
	Perform any other duty as may be assigned by the management &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
Education:	Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Management, Marketing or 
 equivalent
Professional Training:	Customer Service

Experience:	
At least 5 years' relevant experience with a track record of secured accounts

ACÁCIA TRANSPORTES, LDA, empresa especializada na prestação de serviços de transporte nacional e internacional de mercadorias e passageiros, agenciamento de mercadorias em trânsito internacional, gestão de fretes e fretamento, gestão de frotas e actividades afins, serviços auxiliares de estiva, manutenção e reparação de veículos e maquinaria, bem como aluguer de veículos com e/ou motorista pretende contratar um(a) Gestor de Operações experiente e orientado(a) para resultados para gerir as operações diárias de transporte, assegurando a prestação de serviços seguros, eficientes e de elevada qualidade aos nossos clientes.


Sumário das Responsabilidades

O(a) profissional será responsável pela gestão da frota, de contratos, coordenação das equipas operacionais, optimização dos recursos e garantia do cumprimento dos requisitos legais, de segurança e dos padrões de qualidade da empresa.
Esta função exige fortes competências de gestão e liderança, capacidade de tomada de decisão, orientação para resultados e experiência comprovada na gestão de operações de transportes e logística.


Principais Responsabilidades

•	Gerir todos os contratos com os clientes;
•	Gerir todas as operações de transporte. 
•	Garantir o cumprimento dos níveis de serviço acordados com os clientes. 
•	Gerir e optimizar a utilização da frota e dos recursos operacionais. 
•	Monitorizar indicadores de desempenho (KPIs) e implementar acções de melhoria contínua. 
•	Assegurar o cumprimento das normas de Qualidade, Segurança, Saúde, Ambiente de Trabalho. 
•	Coordenar equipas operacionais, motoristas e supervisores. 
•	Desenvolver estratégias para redução de custos e aumento da produtividade. 
•	Gerir o orçamento operacional e controlar despesas. 
•	Promover uma cultura de segurança, excelência operacional e melhoria contínua. 
•	Produzir relatórios operacionais para a Direcção. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
Requisitos

•	Licenciatura em Gestão de Transportes, Logística, Administração e Gestão de Empresas ou área similar. 
•	Mínimo de 7 anos de experiência em operações de transporte ou logística. 
•	Experiência comprovada em gestão de equipas multidisciplinares. 
•	Conhecimentos sólidos de gestão de frotas, distribuição e planeamento operacional. 
•	Conhecimento das operações de transportes no Corredor da Beira.
•	Conhecimento da legislação de transporte e normas de segurança. 
•	Capacidade analítica e orientação para indicadores de desempenho. 
•	Excelentes competências de gestão e liderança. 
•	Domínio do Microsoft Office (Excel avançado será uma vantagem). 
•	Conhecimentos de sistemas TMS, ERP ou plataformas de gestão logística serão valorizados. 
•	Fluência em Inglês. &lt;br /&gt;
