POURQUOI CE ROLE EST IMPORTANT

Chez Africa Global Logistics, la performance durable et la responsabilité environnementale sont devenues des leviers stratégiques majeurs de compétitivité et d'image de marque.
Le/La Chargé(e) de projets environnement contribue activement à la mise en œuvre des engagements d'AGL en matière de développement durable et de gestion responsable des impacts environnementaux.
Il/Elle pilote les projets environnementaux internes et externes, soutient les équipes dans l'intégration des enjeux climatiques et écologiques, et contribue à l'amélioration continue de la performance environnementale des opérations. Ce rôle est essentiel dans l'ancrage de la durabilité au cœur des processus métier et dans la transformation d'AGL vers un modèle plus éco-responsable.


ACTIVITES LIEES AU POSTE

1. Gestion des impacts environnementaux
• Identifier, évaluer et suivre les impacts environnementaux des activités de l'entreprise.
• Proposer et mettre en œuvre des actions de réduction (déchets, émissions, consommation d'eau/énergie).
• Suivre les indicateurs environnementaux clés (KPIs) et produire des rapports réguliers sur l'efficacité des actions.

2. Projets et initiatives durables
• Contribuer à la mise en œuvre de la stratégie environnementale de l'entreprise.
• Participer à des projets transverses (biodiversité, économie circulaire, neutralité carbone…).
• Collaborer avec les équipes QHSE pour intégrer les enjeux environnementaux dans les systèmes de management.
• Accompagner les parties prenantes de la chaîne de valeur dans l'adoption de pratiques durables.

3. Sensibilisation et formation
• Organiser des campagnes de sensibilisation environnementale pour les parties prenantes internes et externes.
• Promouvoir et former aux bonnes pratiques dans le cadre des engagements durabilité d'AGL.

4. Reporting et communication
• Élaborer les rapports environnementaux (internes et externes) : rapports RSE, bilans carbone, etc.
• Participer à la communication des résultats et initiatives environnementales.

5. Suivi de la conformité environnementale
• Veiller au respect des exigences légales et réglementaires.
• Assurer une veille réglementaire et contribuer aux audits environnementaux internes et externes.

6. Autres activités
• Appuyer le département dans l'atteinte de ses objectifs durabilité.
• Identifier les opportunités d'amélioration dans la mise en œuvre des projets.

Formation &amp; Expérience

• Bac+4/5 (Ingénieur en Environnement, QSE, Énergétique ou équivalent).
• 3 à 5 ans d'expérience minimum sur un poste similaire ou connexe dans la gestion de projets durabilité.

Main Responsibilities
Reporting and Compliance Metrics
•	Collect, process, and format the Group's compliance indicators to facilitate consolidation and analysis. 
•	Contribute to updating compliance dashboards and reporting materials used by the Compliance Department for analysis and decision-making. 
•	Verify the consistency, accuracy, and quality of data submitted by Group entities. 
Training and Awareness
•	Assist in the design, development, and regular updating of training materials covering the various components of the Group's Compliance Program. 
•	Contribute to the development of annual compliance awareness and communication campaigns. 
•	Deliver training sessions in both French and English to employees, managers, and Compliance Delegates. 
•	Support local Compliance Delegates in implementing their own awareness initiatives to ensure consistent compliance coverage across the Group. 
•	Monitor training campaigns and participant registrations throughout the year, following up as necessary to ensure that established training objectives are achieved. 
Compliance Network Coordination
•	Maintain regular follow-up with Compliance Delegates in countries that do not have a dedicated regional compliance representative. 
•	Conduct onboarding and provide ongoing guidance to Compliance Delegates to support them in carrying out their responsibilities effectively. 
•	Perform quality reviews of deliverables and compliance reports produced by local entities. 
Compliance Communications
•	Contribute to the preparation of communications issued by the Compliance Department. 
•	Assist in developing communication materials for compliance-related events such as the African Anti-Corruption Day, the International Anti-Corruption Day, and other compliance awareness initiatives, while coordinating the collection and monitoring of activities carried out by local entities. 
Documentation and Continuous Improvement
•	Contribute to updating and translating the Group's compliance policies, procedures, and reference documentation. 
•	Prepare Executive Summaries, in collaboration with members of the Compliance Management team, for operational management.

Candidate Profile

Main Duties and Key Responsibilities
The Reporting Assistant within the Shared Service Center is responsible for supporting the Compliance Department, and more specifically the Deputy Head of Compliance, in carrying out a wide range of responsibilities related to monitoring and supporting the team of Compliance Officers, as well as overseeing ongoing projects and preparing reports for the Group Head of Compliance and various committees.
The purpose of this position is to assist the Deputy Head of Compliance in managing a department that oversees a broad range of strategic and engaging initiatives, including the review and enhancement of tools, process digitalization, procedure updates, and other compliance-related projects. The role also ensures that the department's activities are properly documented, tracked, and archived to support audit requirements.
More specifically, the position includes:

•	Preparing and following up on meeting minutes following internal departmental meetings, cross-functional meetings, and project-related meetings. 
•	Tracking action items agreed upon during team meetings and coordinating follow-up with other departments.

•	Drafting memoranda, procedures, PowerPoint presentations, and other supporting documentation.

Key responsibilities

A. Supporting users and managing data requests
A.1. Receive and handle user requests
Act as a first point of contact for end users by receiving, reviewing, and processing requests related to the creation or update of AGL parties.
A.2. Keep data up to date in UNIFY
Ensure that information is accurately recorded and maintained in UNIFY, including:
•	Creation or update of AGL parties;
•	Creation or update of AGL accounting codes.
A.3. Promote high-quality data
Review third-party data requests to help ensure that data is reliable, complete, and ready to be used by the business. Key checks include:
•	Uniqueness;
•	Completeness;
•	Accuracy.
A.4. Support compliance screening
Make sure that the relevant parties are correctly broadcast to the compliance screening tool, so that required controls can be performed on time.
B. Maintaining reliable local data
B.1. Maintain data daily
Ensure day-to-day maintenance of related parties in line with data governance rules and defined standards.
B.2. Monitor data quality indicators
Follow the relevant KPIs and contribute to improvement actions to strengthen the quality and reliability of master data.
B.3. Keep data clean and relevant
Identify, review, and clean obsolete or non-compliant data to keep the database accurate and useful for business needs.
B.4. Escalate when needed
Raise ambiguous situations, data inconsistencies, or requests requiring clarification to the Central Data Steward for guidance or arbitration.
B.5. Share useful information with users
Keep users informed about UNIFY usage, updates, and changes to support smooth adoption and consistent ways of working.
C. Scope of the role
C.1. Local responsibility
The role focuses primarily on the local scope and supports local teams in applying MDM rules and data quality practices.
C.2. Regional contribution
Depending on the organization and business needs, the role may also contribute to MDM activities across the Africa region and several Business Units.
D. Working with key stakeholders
D.1. Collaboration
Work closely with the Compliance Team of the Kigali Expertise Center, the Global Data Owner, and the Central Data Steward MDM teams to ensure alignment, consistency, and compliance across data processes.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
Education

•	Bachelor's degree in information systems, Business Administration, Data Management, Computer Science, or a related field.

•	Previous experience maintaining master data (Business Partners, Vendors, Customers, Accounting Codes, or similar reference data).

•	Experience collaborating with cross-functional and international teams is an advantage. 
•	Working proficiency in French is considered an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

What We're Looking For

Technical Skills:

Strong understanding of anti-corruption laws, compliance frameworks, and risk management processes.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Teams, SharePoint).

Experience with learning management systems (e.g. Syfadis, Academy) is desirable.

JOB FUNCTION: LIST KEY TASKS &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES
•	To provide a comprehensive secretarial and administration service to the MD across the range of their work, including travel arrangements, visitors' accommodations, etc.
•	To maintain and organize the MD's diaries, filing system and all other relevant areas as necessary.
•	Prepare and communicate findings from quarterly PR reports
•	To draft letters and reports as requested by the MD
•	To facilitate meetings, schedule debriefing meetings so follow up action can be implemented. Also, by arranging refreshments, seating and taking minutes if required to do so.
•	To co-ordinate events i.e. staff seminars and other internal functions
•	To respond to queries in a timely and professional manner, both orally and in writing.
•	To co-ordinate all senior management travel arrangements, and those of visitors
•	To circulate reports, minutes, and agendas for meetings. To liaise with colleagues and fellow employees on various matters as required.
•	To be responsible for receiving enquiries and providing an effective referral service to service users.
•	To maintain and continuously keep up to date with all company mail, couriers, and correspondences
•	To ensure the effective management and update of all approvals on behalf of the MD pertaining to leave, recruitment and investment systems
•	To process expense claims and fees reimbursements
•	To provide research assistance where needed
•	To be able to provide cover for the Administration Manager in his absence
•	To supervise the receptionist and chauffeur/ banks agent 
•	Any other duties commensurate with the accountabilities of the post
•	Developing and implementing public relations strategies and campaigns to promote the organization's goals and objectives.
•	Monitoring and analyzing media coverage to evaluate the effectiveness of public relations strategies and identify potential issues or opportunities
•	Organizing and coordinating press conferences, events, and other public relations activities.
•	Developing and maintaining positive relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, employees, investors, and the local community.
•	Writing and editing press releases, speeches, and other communication materials to effectively convey key messages.
•	Liaising with the media to pitch stories, arrange interviews, and respond to media inquiries
•	Organizing events for employees and their teams
•	Preparing and editing organizational publications, including employee newsletters or stockholders' reports, for internal and external audiences.
•	Updating and maintaining Web content. Writing and executing a company's social responsibility strategy (CSR)
•	Coordinate the production of corporate social responsibility programs and community events
•	Developing policies relating to a company's ethical, sustainable, and environmental responsibilities
•	Coordinate Corporate Social Responsibility reporting process, working with other departments &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
•	Bachelor's degree level or equivalent 
•	3 - 5 years' previous experience in a similar role;
•	Excellent IT Skills, including use of ICT packages i.e. Word, Excel, Power point
•	Strong interpersonal skills with an approachable personality
•	Excellent letter writing and organizational skills
•	Clear understanding of confidentiality
•	Ability to work under pressure to agreed deadlines and adapt to change.
•	The ability to pay high attention to detail to ensure that high quality work leaves the organisation
•	Ability to work in a flexible manner – out of hours as required. 
•	Excellent written English and the ability to communicate at all levels
•	To professionally represent the organisation&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;b&gt;Niveau d'études min. requis : &lt;/b&gt;Licence ou équivalent&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;b&gt;Langue / Niveau : &lt;/b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
