 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Manage and lead Middle Office (MO) teams handling Sea freight Imports/Export and Road freight imports. Export into/ from Ethiopia. 

 •	Keep the team informed of the changes/evolutions &amp; communicate the necessary internal alignments, objectives (objectives given by top management)
•	Evaluate the subordinate's performance
•	develop the skills of the employees
•	Implement good conditions (procedure) of the case transfer in case of organization changes within the team.
•	Ensure the new incoming staff policy is in place as well the training. 
•	Define and control absences.
•	Approve the job opening form and prepare the hiring in collaboration with the BU head. 
•	Manage litigation within the responsibility perimeter
•	Provide quotation for existing clients.
•	Work Closely with the Commercial team for existing contract extension.

2. Build the MO organization, expertise, the means and ensure the standard process are in place

•	Ensure the organization, the expertise and the means are in line with the objectives given by the Head of BU (review at least once a year during the budget) 
•	Monitor the investments within the perimeter responsibility (defined during budget) and control the good use of allocated facilities. 
•	Regularly review the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and ensure alignment to serve customers. 
•	Control the implementation of the SOP by MO team, Quality audit (internal and external) and by continually monitoring it against the approved action plan. 

3.Pilot the service offer
•	In collaboration with the Front Office, support the preparation of service proposals/ tender bids considering the current market, its evolution, the organization, the activity profitability as well the risk level. 
•	Support the Front Office actions by providing the required expertise
•	Approve the complex quotes (technical risk, sensitive client, high profitability …) after the N-1 input
•	Support the money collection lead by Finance and subordinate when required
•	Review the Clients' credit limit and submit it to the Head of the BU and CFO 

4.Coordinate &amp; Monitor Operations
•	Coordinate the actions of several MO sections /departments, Front Office and Back Office
•	Embrace the role of being the privileged interlocutor to the managers of other 
business units at branch and country level.
•	Monitor the quality of service provided to the clients (internal as well as external) and take appropriate action to achieve the service the clients are paying for. 
•	Ensure the target budget (gross margin, cost, OR, ROI, disbursement, DSO) as well the operation target (Transit time, exhaustiveness, timeliness) are achieved
•	Break down and operationalize the MO priorities and support their development

	Provide staff performance reviews and resolve employee problems. 
	Ensure drivers perform all their necessary tasks and responsibilities.
	Maintain frequent contact with management staff and employees regarding transport requirements.
	Provide checks and balances for transport management of the company.
	Assist in the development and use of budget/fiscal and inventory control programs.
	Ensure all administrative requirements are completed in a timely manner. 
	Mentor and assist employees engaged in transport and driving. 
	Conduct weekly / monthly safety meetings.
	Manage Drivers 


2.	REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS: 

	Degree in Logistics &amp; supply chain Management or Transport management

The Cluster CFO will serve as the Chief Financial Officer for our entities in Ethiopia and, in addition, supervise and support the Chief Financial Officer in Djibouti as Cluster CFO. Acting as a trusted partner to the Cluster CEO for Ethiopia and Djibouti, the CFO will ensure financial integrity, drive strategic oversight, and align financial strategies with regional business priorities to enable sustainable growth and operational excellence. The CFO will also be responsible for implementing and sustaining the appropriate internal control framework across all entities to safeguard assets, ensure compliance, and strengthen governance. Regular travel to Djibouti will be required as part of the supervisory responsibilities.

- Supervise finance teams in Ethiopia and oversee the CFO in Djibouti
- Validate key financial transactions (payments, cash management, purchases)
- Monitor accounting processes and ensure accuracy of financial records

Reporting &amp; Forecasting: 

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline status using CRM systems.

Qualifications:

Based in AGL Egypt and reporting to the General Manager - AGL Egypt, the successful applicant will be responsible for the following key result areas: -

1.	Analyze and profile client accounts based on performance, value and potential and generate periodic reports.

2.	Determine the crucial needs of key clients and ensure that they receive first-class customer care and service.

3.	Develop a strategy for managing key accounts and ensure its implementation
4.	Develop pricing structures for key clients

5.	Conduct account reviews

6.	Analyze and adapt new strategies to react to changing business trends

7.	Conduct client visits based on target prospects.

8.	Generate weekly sales reports and submit to management

9.	Manage the sales team to generate sales and a portfolio of new accounts to reach the Company's sales target.

10.	Provide training, coaching, direction, targets, and leadership support to sales team to achieve department KPIs.

11.	Develop and coordinate the company's sales strategies to maintain and improve market share

12.	Establish and drive products' volume, market share, and profit objectives

13.	Guide and direct the employees in accordance with the policies, procedures, processes, and system

14.	Prepare and submit quotations to clients. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
The applicant should possess the following qualifications:

- Degree in Business or Marketing.
- 5 years' relevant experience.
