Job Purpose
To oversee and coordinate all maintenance activities within the terminal, ensuring that equipment, machinery, and facilities are maintained in optimal working condition to support safe and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities
This includes, but is not limited to:-
•	Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance activities (preventative and corrective). 
•	Ensure all plant, equipment, and vehicles are maintained according to company standards and manufacturer specifications. 
•	Develop and implement maintenance schedules and plans. 
•	Monitor equipment performance and identify areas for improvement. 
•	Ensure minimal downtime through effective planning and rapid response to breakdowns. 
•	Maintain accurate maintenance records, logs, and reports. 
•	Manage and control maintenance costs and budgets. 
•	Supervise and support maintenance staff, including technicians and artisans. 
•	Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. 
•	Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment. 
•	Liaise with external contractors and service providers when required. 
•	Ensure availability and control of spare parts and maintenance inventory. 
•	Support operational teams to ensure equipment availability aligns with business needs.
•	In addition, this position will oversee daily logistics operations
•	The position is required to work overtime and on a shift system when required. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
Minimum Education, Experience Requirements &amp; Core Competencies:
-	Matric
-	5–7 years' equipment maintenance experience, with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory role 
-	Experience in logistics, transport, or industrial environments (advantageous) 
-	Strong knowledge of maintenance systems and processes 
-	Computer literacy (MS Office; maintenance systems advantageous)
-	Attention to detail 
-	Good communication and interpersonal skills

Job Purpose

AGL Namibia is seeking an experienced Technical Manager to lead all fleet and equipment maintenance operations in Walvis Bay. The role covers both cross-border trucks and trailers, as well as port, yard, and bulk handling equipment. The focus is on maximising asset availability, reliability, safety, and cost efficiency.Key Responsibilities

1. Fleet &amp; Technical Management

Develop and implement maintenance strategies to minimise downtime and ensure compliance.
Monitor performance, identify trends, and drive preventative maintenance improvements.
Liaise with OEMs and align with regional technical standards.

2. Workshop Management

Oversee workshop operations, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency.
Manage technical teams across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and tyre disciplines.
Set and track KPIs (uptime, turnaround, cost, rework).

3. Port &amp; Equipment Oversight

Manage all port and yard equipment maintenance and compliance.
Ensure preventative maintenance, statutory inspections, and certifications.
Handle complex diagnostics (hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, drives).

4. Tyre &amp; Component Management

Oversee tyre performance and cost (CPK), supplier management, and reporting.
Manage component rebuilds (engines, hydraulics, transmissions) internally or via contractors.

5. Fabrication &amp; Repairs

Supervise bodywork, repairs, and modifications.
Manage outsourced fabrication and quality control.

6. Data &amp; Systems

Ensure accurate CMMS usage (e.g., Maximo).
Analyse data and report on performance, costs, and KPIs.

7. Budget &amp; Inventory

Manage maintenance budgets, inventory, and supplier contracts.
Control costs while maintaining standards.

8. Compliance &amp; Safety

Ensure adherence to Namibian regulations, port authority rules, and safety standards.
Enforce safety protocols and environmental compliance.

9. Continuous Improvement

Drive innovation, improve maintenance practices, and adopt new technologies.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
Qualifications &amp; Experience
Education: Degree/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering. Trade-qualified candidates with strong experience considered.
Experience: 6–8 years in fleet or industrial equipment maintenance, including 5 years in a leadership role. Experience across heavy transport and plant equipment preferred.
Technical Expertise:
Strong knowledge of heavy trucks (drivetrain, diagnostics, tyres, suspension, electrical systems).
Proven experience in hydraulic systems, lifting equipment, and industrial plant maintenance.
Exposure to PLCs, VFDs, conveyors, and pneumatic systems advantageous.
Understanding of lubrication systems and component rebuilds beneficial.
Regulatory Knowledge: Familiar with Namibian transport laws, port authority requirements, and equipment certification standards.
Leadership: Ability to lead and manage multi-disciplinary technical teams with strong planning and organisational skills.
Systems &amp; IT: Experience with CMMS (e.g., Maximo), Microsoft Office, and OEM diagnostic tools.
Language: Fluent in English; Afrikaans advantageous.&lt;br /&gt;

The Operations Invoicing Supervisor is responsible for overseeing billing and invoice processes, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing for customers, payment to suppliers, and managing customer service functions within AGL Namibia. The role will ensure that all invoicing is compliant with company policies and procedures while providing exceptional service to customers. The supervisor will lead and manage the team to maintain operational excellence and ensure that the customers' needs are addressed in a timely manner.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
Job Function: 
1. Billing and Invoice Management:
•	Oversee, supervise and execute the preparation and issuance of customer invoices in accordance with contract terms, approved tariff book and company policies.
•	All invoices to be generated from Pegasus &amp; AGL TMS systems or any other system required by AGL Namibia 
•	Ensure invoices are accurate and dispatched to customers promptly.
•	Review and reconcile billing discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
•	Collaborate with the finance and operations teams to ensure accurate billing data.
•	Develop appropriate dashboards for tracking and forecasting revenue and customer issues/ resolutions 
•	Invoice management 
•	receiving, verifying and processing records and ensuring payment of invoices in a timely and accurate manner 
•	Check vendor details 
•	check matching PO's 
•	Accurate pricing and quantities 
2. Customer Service Oversight:
•	Manage customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
•	Serve as the primary point of contact for billing-related customer queries and issues.
•	Maintain relationships with key clients and resolve any service or billing-related and service-related concerns.
3. Team Supervision &amp; Development:
•	Supervise and provide leadership to the Billing &amp; Customer Service team.
•	Monitor and guide team performance, ensuring that targets and quality standards are met.
•	Conduct training and development programs to improve team efficiency and skillsets.
4. Process Improvement:
•	Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement improvements for efficiency in billing and customer service functions.
•	Ensure adherence to internal controls, policies, and industry standards for billing practices.
5. Reporting &amp; Compliance:
•	Generate regular reports on billing performance, outstanding payments, and customer service metrics.
•	Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, tax laws, and internal billing processes.
•	Provide support in audits and assist with resolving any discrepancies or issues.

Minimum requirements:
•	National Diploma in business administration or related field, Finance, or a related field is required.
•	Preference will be given to a bachelor's degree 
•	Must be a Namibian citizen
•	Experience in a billing or invoicing role using the Pegasus system is an advantage
•	Must be fluent in both written and verbal English.
